"Junta team fired rockets at Bahir Dar last night," said Air Force Commander Major General Yilma Merdasa
FDRE Air Force Commander, Maj. Gen. Yilma Merdassa, said the Junta TPLF did not cause any damage by the rockets fired at Bahir Dar last night.
Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Yilma Merdassa told ETV that two rockets landed at Bahir Dar at around 7pm yesterday.
He said the rockets landed in the woods, ensuring that they did not cause any damage to people or property.
The Chief of Defense Staff, Maj. Gen. Yilma Merdassa, said the Defense Forces are preparing for the end of the junta in a coordinated operation with the Air Force.
He said the action against the Junta would not harm civilians, adding that great care would be taken for the safety of the civilians, despite the whereabouts of the Junta leaders.
He said the Air Force is working to destroy the Junta group by taking great care not to harm innocent civilians.
