UPDATED: Wukro and Hawzen Liberated

27 Nov 2020 – (EP) The Ethiopian army has captured Wukro and Hawzen cities today.
Wukro is 47 km north of the regional capital city Mekele (pictured).
The junta militia tried to defend the road to Mekele around the outskirt of Agula town but immediately retreated when the advancing Ethiopia army started pounding them with heavy artillery.
Agula town is 37 km from Mekele.
Meanwhile, in the southern front, May Keyih is under the control of the Ethiopian army.
May Keyih is 30 km south of Mekele city.
Yesterday, in the eastern front, the Ethiopian army is less than 20 km from the regional capital.
Today, the Ethiopian government spokesperson forecasted that the army would liberate Mekele in the next two or three days.
