The Most Mismatched War Ever
የኢትዮጵያ ሰራዊት ጥርሱን እየፋቀ ነው መቀሌ የገባው።
Probably, the Ethiopian army vs Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) war in November 2020 must be the most massively-mismatched war ever and ought to be recorded in history books as “not what to do in military planning”.
On one side, you have the disciplined Ethiopian forces, armed with drones, jets, helicopters and guided-missile batteries.
On the other side, you have the undisciplined Dedebit combatants, armed with gatling guns, empty barrels and ወልጋዳ rockets.
The Ethiopian army undertook only six days to organised and 17 days to liberate the whole Tigray region from the hands of TPLF ragtag militias.
The reference document published yearly by Guinness World Records may list the achievements of the Ethiopian army in its 2021 annual book.
